Lezat is handcrafted in our very own WRAP certified domestic factory. Our team of skilled craftspeople are paid fair, livable wages.
Lezat is female-founded and minority-owned. We are currently pending B Corp and GOTS organic cotton facility certification.
As part of our commitment to zero waste manufacturing, all of our fabric cutting scraps are re-purposed into dog beds for local animal shelters, dog rescues and homeless dog owners here in Los Angeles. As of 2024, Lezat has donated over 2,000 dog beds from our cutting scraps.
Materials Matter
From careful fabric and trim sourcing, to using only compostable and recycled packaging, we consider every decision with intention and purpose.
Organic Cotton
Our GOTS certified organic cotton not only saves water but it is grown sans any toxic chemicals. Our cotton gets softer with each wash! It is gentle and better for sensitive skin, children and those with allergies.
Modal
Knitted in the USA from sustainable TENCEL™ modal fiber, our machine washable Modal jersey, rib and fleece fabrics combine the perfect drape with unmatched softness.
Silk
Our 100% silk fabric is OEKO-TEX® certified. Mulberry silk is a highly renewable fabric with a very low water footprint. It meets rigorous textile testing standards developed by European and Japanese textile leads to ensure it is entirely non-toxic. We use 19-22 momme weight silk for a luxurious feel.
Lyocell
We use woven and knit Lyocell blended with cotton or linen. Lyocell is made from natural fibers. This modern fabric features a subtle texture and impeccable drape for an elevated and sophisticated look.
Deadstock
We buy deadstock fabric and trims from local vendors to put them to good use. These materials are often over-ordered in bulk. We design around their size and colors to make sure they have a longer life and aren't just sent to a landfill.

Our fabrics are dyed using low-impact, non-toxic, lead-free, and azo-free dyes from local dye facilities we partner with.
Eco-Friendly
Our garments are adorned with 100% eco-friendly buttons. Our top selects are coconut shell and Corozo buttons. Corozo originates from Mexico to Brazil and is a fruit that grows on various types of palm trees. The dyes used with corozo are non-toxic and biodegradable. The entire process from plant to product is environmentally friendly as the fruits are only picked once fallen naturally. Not only are these buttons eco-friendly, but they are scratch resistant and naturally durable.
Recycled
While we do not sell apparel made from recycled fabrics, we do use hang tags and packaging materials made from recycled paper. When possible we opt for printing with environmentally friendly, soy-based inks.
Compostable
We stick to our commitment of sustainability all the way to your doorstep by using packaging made from recycled and compostable materials. Our plastic bags are made from recycled materials and are curbside recyclable. Our mailers are 100% compostable.
